Ever feel like a fish out of water? The Kelloggs are water people, who happened to fall in love with Boulder, and decided to stay, despite the dust.
The poetic beauty of the Rocky Mountain Foothills provide the backdrop to the Dusty Mermaid Farm. It is a high desert facsimile that echoes the calm, sense of refuge and wild beauty we experience at the beach.
We believe it is still possible to unwind and relax deeply in this day and age of constant stimulation. On the farm we cultivate the ground and also a sense of refuge and nourishment that our guests sense immediately upon arrival. Everywhere the eye lands, there is something beautiful, soulful and interesting. We shower everything, and everyone, with love. Our goal is that every guest leaves feeling nourished and with a renewed sense of calm.
Come for a short visit with our beloved miniature donkey or stay a few days in one of our studio suites. Support our larger mission of contributing to the success of local, national and international nonprofits that are working heroically hard to eliminate hunger, intolerance and the abuse of people and animals or just come for tea and talking at our monthly salon.
